this intersection was supposedly getting federal funds to be repaired already. the work was supposed to have started. as always Muni doesn't spend money on what it needs and instead buys faregates that don't work.

Only two years? In the meantime, another major city springs up in the Middle East, China forges ahead building thousands of miles of high speed rail, and the world passes San Francisco by.
MUNI has proven very bad for our economy. Think how many work hours are lost to it. I routinely head out in the evening to do something and scrap it when I realize public transportation isn't going to pan out, so I go home and watch Netflix.
The system is run for the drivers and management. The riders are the last thought when it comes to MUNI and San Francisco's ranking among world cities fall further.

Anyone who goes by here on a bike, on the Wiggle, can affirm that the quality of the street is ridiculous.
