I think anyone who uses the phrase "in a post 9-11 world" can be safely ignored.

This is the best news the Towers had since the scandal. I wonder if Dan was hired by MT. Pretty good publicity for eyesore architecture.

It didn't hurt anybody. kl2real may have a valid point buried somewhere among the breathless tattling, but he comes across as a petty hall monitor who wants to be congratulated. To pile on James D's comment above, I think anyone who chooses to live in that horrible, overgrown Ionic Breeze can be safely ignored.

Also, it would be nearly impossible to secure a building against this sort of attack, and even if you did, it would be an enormous waste of resources.

You're all a bit much. I didn't invent this situation. I was merely responding to a hasty press release from the building. The Millennium is a wonderful place to live. It is run in an outstanding manner, and many wonderful people live and work here. The whole story got blown way put of proportion because it happened on a slow news day. Chill out!
