San Francisco's only gun shop is set to re-open but not if a nearby neighborhood group has anything to say about it. High Bridge Arms...

This is one of the major "faults" with the majority of left coast individuals... everything is fine and exal rights for all until it comes to something like a gun smith operating in their neighborhood.
The owner is correct in his statement about the neighbors rights, but also about his right to operate his business legally. I see nothing wrong with his business, and as the next door bartender stated, "there are always cops around!"
Maybe that is the problem that the other neighbors have! Good luck to the owner and I hope he is sucessful in his quest.

I support this Gun Shop and Responsible Gun Ownership in General. I used to get ammo at the San Francisco Gun Exchange down on Second Street, for use out at the Shooting Range at Sharp Park. It's a shame that this is the last Gunsmith in the City and County of San Francisco. Every American should know how to assemble, disassemble, clean and maintain firearms. Every home should have weapons and ammo for their weapons. I believe that gun ownership is not only a right in the United States, but is a obligation of citizenship that is just as important as voting.

If they want to regulate, only sell ammo at Police Stations.
I miss the dogs at the SF Gun Exchange. They were all business, no petting.
Similarly, medical marijuana should be sold only at City government-operated health clinics, with approval for a card provided by the doctors at said clinics.

Glad about all the hullabaloo - now I know where to shop in SF! Nothing like publicity, right? Thanks for the heads-up. Usually I just accelerate through SF on my way north but now I have somewhere to stop and shop. Hope they stay open a long time.
