This is also a one-time funded thing - the SFCTA is NOT going to keep giving money to the SFMTA, year after year. Likewise other one-time funding won't last. This is a stopgap measure at best.

Kinda funny to see certain angry leftist organizations now positioning themselves as Muni saviors, when they were nowhere to be found before. Even more funny to see so many reporters take them seriously, when they do not in fact represent most Muni owners.

Yes, it is a one time funding. It's no permanent solution, but if you've ridden Muni lately, and I know you have, then it's hard to imagine the SFMTA not putting it to use. As far as a more long time fixer, that's why some people are rallying behind HR2746.

Take who seriously? The SFMTA board or the leftist organizations?
