This will be an interesting problem they will have to work out... how to handle those who adds their Clipper funds with commuter benefit funds; I don't think the law allows those who uses commuter benefits funds to pay for other purposes. Make them get a second card, or create a separate account purse for other e-commerce? Just wait until fast food restaurants may accept Clipper cards for groceries.
