Gurl; he could sell me grape Kool-Aid in an enema bag, telling me it's Beaujolais nouveau and I'd buy it.
Let's face it; he knew and we all knew that he was kissing his political career goodbye when he stood up for equal marriage. Anybody knows that that wasn't going to be well received by the baptist taliban who infest California.

Brilliant, and the punchline was priceless. His rehab, from what I can see, was as transparently phony as his love of hobos and environmental living while being chauffeured around in a large convoy everywhere.
@Burgos: It wasn't the gay marriage thing that ruined Gavin's career. That boosted it. The people with money, who actually pay for candidates to be our representatives, were not impressed once the word got out about Gavin, and who knows what those word(s) actually were? However, if anybody can get to the bottom of a mystery, it's our Beth.
