I'm an HSU alumnus and can attest that a lot of people (students, hippies, Rastas, entrepreneurs, Natives, and just about anybody, maybe even republicans) entice the sacred herb in Humboldt Country. A 6.5 is significant enough to get any stoned person off their ass.

The falling caribou head story was my favorite, too, mainly because it was so...well...provincial. Hopefully nobody was seriously hurt, but that particular aspect of this story was fucking hilarious.
