Of course bigotry is protected under the First Amendment. Thank god. I may disagree with what you say but I will fight to the death for your right to say it. That's what makes it a great country.
Classic SF attitude to be tolerant of those who agree with you, and have no tolerance for those who don't. Makes you intolerant, not enlightened.
