I live in a gnat and semi cockroach infested over priced studio in the Tenderloin. There are pigeon nests across from my kitchen window. And a rat's nest in the neighboring apts courtyard. The elevator has been out of service for up to 30 days, several times during my year here. My building along with my sister's, who lives up the hill, was sold to Urban Pioneer.

The announcement came in the middle of the night in the form of a letter slipped underneath the door. The letter provided Urban Pioneer's phone number and mailing address. The entity I make my check payable to is a LLC with name my street address. Sketchy. The next morning I called my new property management company who greeted me with a recorded message. I left my name and did not receive a call back for three days. While waiting, I called Citi Apartments hoping for some information, I was told to call my the new company who had not called me back.

I mailed my rent payment off 7/30 and it was returned to me on 8/5. The address was incorrect. I called and called and received no answer. Days later I called and reached a recording stating that the address was wrong and late fees would not be collected.

My situation is mild to many others in Citi Apts and Citi Apt affiliates. I would NOT recommend renting from Citi Apts, Citi Apt affiliates, and Urban Pioneer Property Management Company. Avoid them at all costs. I hope I receive my $1607.00 security deposit.
