Telling people not to vote, given how few already do, would be a godsend to Meg Whitman's campaign because she has to overcome that she has no policy/government experience, while Brown has tons. Instead of not voting, we'd get much better results if everyone voted, it would mean the politicians would get no where trying to sway the crackpot small percentages that they go after now, just because these zealots vote.

Better that we have mandatory voting, than the reverse.
