Some of my out of town friends asked me to describe Bay to Breakers, and I told them I'd just wait for Ramona's "Things San Franciscans Like" column on Wednesday. Didn't disappoint! I, too, used to think it was "Beta Breakers," and I, too, felt ashamed while looking at cute children.
