Appealing Events: Compañía Nacional de Danza
This may be the last opportunity you have to see Spain's renowned Compañía Nacional de Danza in the forward-thinking form it's in today. Due to the request of the country's Culture Ministry for CND to move toward a more classical and neoclassical style of ballet, Artistic Director Nacho Duato will step down this year after 20 years of brilliant, contemporary choreography.
The company, presented by San Francisco Performances, will dance a mixed bill of three works: Arenal (1988), Kol Nidre (2009), and Cobalto (2009).
