I once wrote a yelp review highly critical of a particularly nasty employee at the St. Francis Fountain in the Mission and my inbox was filled with hipsters angry that I DARED slander "their friend" the owner. They didn't even bother to read the actual review.

And then there's collective pants-wetting on Facebook and Twitter when the owner they know sells the place, and new management isn't giving them free stuff, which segues into another thing San Franciscans like: The Angry, Pointless Pout-Boycott.
