I got an email last night from a helpful former journalist who decided to offer some unsolicited constructive criticism. Basically, he/she said stick to writing and give the videos a rest.
Oh, and when I write, I should try not to use "slangy short cuts or tangents." But otherwise, I should keep up the good work.
