bartpolice_generic.jpgAuthorities poised for civil unrest in the wake of the verdict in the trial of the former BART cop accused of killing unarmed passenger Oscar Grant can probably relax just a bit today: Chances are very good that the jury's not going to be making any decisions today.

According to the SJ Merc, jurors in the Johannes Meserle murder trial will only be deliberating from 9-11 this morning because one juror has a doctor's appointment.

As you might recall, deliberations were canceled yesterday due to a juror's illness.

Today's deliberations will also not include any of the discussions the jury had on Friday, since the jury's starting fresh after losing a juror to vacation.
