One of the reasons, their lawyers wrote, is "promoting and regulating naturally procreative relationships between men and women to provide for the nurture and upbringing of the next generation."
Well then along with making divorce illegal (or at the very least far more difficult), married couples should be required to procreate. No procreation- no traditional marriage- not legal.
Oh and how about making the actual act of getting married more difficult. Waiting periods. Mandatory counseling. Etc. No more Britney drive-thru weddings!

Ack it is so frustrating how these people can get away with talking such gibberish. Making life hard for gay couples does nothing to promote heterosexual relationships! Why do these people think that gays will be like, "oh, what's that, no tax benefits? I guess I'll have to turn straight!"
